CRANKCASE BREATHER
1/2 MOON SEAL w/PIPE
Many of the Maserati V8 engines of the 60's - 70's era are equipped with a crankcase breather pipe that is integrated into the 1/2 moon seal on the forward end of the left intake cam cover. A hose attaches to the pipe and conveys the crankcase "blow by" exhaust into the air collector or air filter housing for re-combustion.
