Q. How long does it take to receive my order from FedEx shipped in the USA?
A. Expected shipping times depend on service level and location.
FedEx Home delivery 3 - 6 business days (Depending on your location)
FedEx Saver is 3rd Business day
FedEx 2nd Day Service is 2-business day
FedEx Standard overnight is the next business day
FedEx Priority is AM delivery the next business day
(Note: The above shipping times begin after FedEx has received the package from our shipping department. Orders placed late in the day are not shipped until the next business day. If you have an urgent requirement, then you should telephone the sales department directly for special handling Tel.1-(253)-833-2598
Q. How long does it take to receive my order from FedEx shipped Internationally?
A. Federal Express International delivery is typically 3 – 7 business days depending on your location.
Q. Are Saturdays & Sundays considered business days?
A. No, only weekdays (Monday – Friday)
Q. Are customs, taxes & duty charges included in the shipping charges collected on my order for International shipments? A. No. The shipping charges collected on your order are transportation costs and package insurance only. International shipments are still subject to your local duty, VAT taxes and custom fees, which can vary from country to country. . You can check with your local customs authorities to get an idea of added costs you might be required to pay. In most cases, FedEx will clear your order through customs and collect the duty and taxes on your behalf when they deliver the packages.If you have a VAT or Tax ID number that you would like us to put on the documents which accompany the shipment, please include this information in the comments field during checkout.
Q. Can a package be accounted for if it has been shipped, but has not arrived in the typical time frame that it should?
A. All packages have a unique tracking identification number, which you will receive by email after your order has been shipped. The package I.D. number can be used to trace the whereabouts of a package that is overdue.
Q. Should I contact the MIE parts department if my package is overdue?
A. Yes. The Parts department will be able to inform you if there are any problems or delays and can usually supply a complete disposition very quickly. They will also assist as necessary in the location of a missing or delayed package.
Q. What if I receive my package and the contents are damaged? A. We have an extremely professional and modern shipping facility. We take a tremendous amount of care in assuring that your purchase is well packaged for safe delivery, however in rare occurrences damage can occur during transportation. All received packages should be inspected upon receipt. It is imperative that you contact the local delivery agent immediately if you have received any damaged merchandise, and begin filing a claim. You should also notify our sales department at once. Retain all packing material and the shipping carton in the event that an inspection is warranted. All packages are insured when shipped, and the shipping department can supply documentation if required. It is your responsibility to make the necessary contact with the shipper and our sales department to begin the process for filing a damage claim.
