Fluid port brass sleeve insert.
Found inside the fluid line ports of the hydraulic cylinders switches and hydraulic blocks on the Bora Merak & Khamsin.
The attachment of the hydraulic line fitting causes this brass sleeve to press down against the port seal located just below it in the above mentioned devices; and caused the port seal to spread forming a tight seal. These sleeves do not wear out and typically do not need to be replaced but because this sleeve must be removed to replace the port seal (quad-ring) they can sometimes get lost.
