V8 Water pump drive shank. Attaches to the A/C clutch pulley and provides the "emergency" drive capability for the water pump when the primary drive cable breaks. The shank (after attached to the A/C pulley) is positioned inside the last round opening hole of the water pump shaft. In the event the main water pump drive cable breaks this shank provided a method of turning the water pump shaft until the cable can be replaced.
