LHM RESERVOIR
New reproduction LHM mineral oil tank.
The original LHM tanks were made from very thin tin metal and would develop leaks as trapped moisture would pool at the bottom and cause the tanks to rot.
Further the fluid level sight grommets on the original tanks would rot and cause leakage. For years owners had few choices but to continue to patch and repair the tanks.
Now we can offer a new reproduction tank made in much stronger and heavier gauge aluminum. The original tanks weigh about 1 pound and the new tank is just over 2 pounds. That shows just how much better and stronger the metal work is on the new tank.
Further the fluid level sight has been reconfigured to eliminate the need for rubber grommets.
NOTE: The tanks are supplied as shown and without the top rubber filler neck return lines or center spigot and boot. Those can be transferred from your old tank to the new tank.
Some early original tanks do not have the filler neck. Filler necks are available.
These tanks were made in a very limited production.
