Note: Mill balancing is an added process in production which ensures even distribution of weight around the axis of rotation. This aids in reducing noise, unusual wear patterns, and vibration.
Much like balancing any large rotating mass such as an engine flywheel, the milling area can vary, and in some cases be absent when balance pre-exists.
