The original AEG fuel pumps installed on the Merak and Bora have been obsolete for many years.
In the past the Bendix type pumps have been the only replacement but because of their large size proved difficult if not impossible to fit within the confined mounting space available. This new electric pump kit provides a suitable solution and comes with a fuel filter various fuel line fittings and a 0.50 Meter length of 8mm ID fuel hose. It's low amperage draw (1.5amp @ 12v) composite chassis solid state design provide for quite smooth operations. The pump is self-priming and has a built in pressure relief valve which means no flooding after shut down on a hot engine.
