FRESH AIR INLET DUCT
(UNIVERSAL)

The original ridged plastic air inlet duct tubes are obsolete. In recent years many Biturbo owners have opted for flimsy "dryer ducting" as a solution which detracts from an otherwise clean engine compartment.

Our new fresh air inlet duct is made from a heavy duty spiral wire material that has "memory flex" allowing it to hold any shape.
Each heat resistant tube comes with neoprene rubber collars for both ends which give the installed duct a cleaner finished appearance.

Each section expands straight to 38" (965mm) with collars attached and each of the collars is "threaded" to securely attach to the ducting. The ducting is 3" ID (76.2mm) while the air filter cover inlets are 70mm OD.

The duct is meant to attached directly to the air filter cover and then extend forward for fresh air. If your Biturbo is an early USA version (1984-1985) with the intermediate fresh air control boxes; those boxes would need to be eliminated.

Biturbo series 1986 - Later.
(OK for 1982 - 1985 Biturbo if original intermediate air boxes are removed)
