A. Federal Express International Economy delivery is typically 3 - 5 business days.
A. MIE gets a substantial discount off the Federal Express published rates (50% - 70% discounted), and we pass these savings directly to you. This makes Federal Express the preferred choice for International shipping. In most cases it is actually LESS EXPENSIVE than Global Express Mail, and much more reliable.
A. No, only weekdays
A. No, International shipments are still subject to duty, VAT taxes and custom fees, which can vary from country to country. You can check with your local customs authorities to get an idea of added costs you might be required to pay. We only charge you the transportation costs and package insurance.
A. All packages have a unique tracking identification number, which we can supply after a package has been shipped. The package I.D. number can be used to trace the whereabouts of a package that is overdue. Please contact the MIE parts department for the tracking number if you need it.
A. Yes. The Parts department will be able to inform you if there are any problems or delays and can usually supply a complete disposition very quickly. They will also assist as necessary in the location of a missing or delay package.
A. We have an extremely professional and modern shipping facility. We take a tremendous amount of care in assuring that your purchase is well packaged for safe delivery, however in rare occurrences damage can occur during transportation. All received packages should be inspected upon receipt. It is imperative that you contact the delivery agent immediately if you have received a damaged merchandise, and begin filing a claim. You should retain all packing material and the shipping carton in the event that an inspection is warranted. All packages are insured when shipped, and the shipping department can supply documentation if required. It is your responsibility to make the necessary contact with the shipper and begin the process for filing a claim.
