Maserati Unveils The New Trofeo GranSport 05

After having completed a series of tests, the new Trofeo GranSport was unveiled at Imola. The car will be fielded in the next edition of the Trofeo Vodafone Maserati Europa.

The vehicle features a new blue livery, reflecting the colour of the MC12 that will compete in the FIA GT championship.

The Trofeo GranSport is clearly inspired by the standard GranSport presented at the last Geneva Motorshow.

The main modifications to the car are:

• GranSport kit
• Reduced weight
• Ignition setup optimized for racing
• Improved braking unit
• New aerodynamic configuration. In detail: front splitter with diffusers, new design for the rear wing.
