Both MC12s Finish On The Podium

It was a historic weekend for the House of the Trident with the MC12 and Trofeo captivating the crowds at Imola.

In the FIA GT championship, Andrea Bertolini and Mika Salo came second in a hard-fought endurance race while Johnny Herbert and Fabrizio De Simone finished third.

Andrea Palma’s benefited from Alberto Cerrai’s withdrawal and his win in Trofeo Vodafone Maserati extended his championship lead even further. The new Trofeo GranSport also made an appearance during the weekend. The new model will be used in the 2005 edition of the one-make series.
